Ice cream with figs and pistachios recipe
Ingredients :
Figs
500 gr
Milk
500 ml
Yolks
4
Sugar
100 gr
Vanilla
1 pod
Chopped pistachios
Preparation
Peel the figs and pass them to the mill. Pour the milk into a saucepan, add the vanilla pod and bring to a boil. Work the egg yolks with the sugar until the mixture is well blended, add, wire, hot milk, passing it through a strainer and stirring constantly. Pour the mixture into a saucepan, bring almost to a boil, stirring with a wooden spoon until velero spoon, remove from heat. allow to cool, remove the vanilla and add the mashed figs, pour into ice cream maker and program it for the time indicated by the instructions. When ready to serve, sprinkle to taste with chopped pistachios.
