Fresh broccoli au gratin recipe

The broccoli au gratin with smoked cheese are a tasty and easy side dish prepared with steamed broccoli au gratin in the oven and then with smoked cheese and breadcrumbs. Light and nutrients , broccoli cooked in this way are perfect as a side dish or as a main dish ! If you prefer , you can enrich the pan of broccoli au gratin with diced mozzarella and ham, but remember to always boil them for a few minutes before cooking !


800 g of fresh broccoli
200 g smoked cheese
4 tablespoons of breadcrumbs
4 tablespoons olive oil
salt and pepper q.b.

PROCEDURE step by step

Clean the broccoli eliminating the final part of the stem and leaves tougher . Blanch for a few minutes in boiling salted water , drain them in a bowl.

Oil Grease the bottom of a rectangular or square baking pan , position the broccoli and toss in a row slightly overlapping with another drizzle of olive oil , a pinch of black pepper , breadcrumbs and grated smoked cheese .

Broccoli au gratin in a preheated oven at 200 for about 20 minutes , until it has formed a tasty golden crust . Serve immediately .
