thyme
60 g. of butter
extra virgin olive oil

Salt and pepper
Cheese (fontina, taleggio cheese, smoked cheese ...)
1 l. milk
100g. of butter
90 g. flour 00

You can start preparing the sauce. Put the butter to melt in a saucepan and add the flour, mixing well together for 2-3 minutes. Remove the pan from the stove and pour in the milk. Amalgamating the mixture and return it to the fire. Simmer over low heat until the sauce will thicken. Season with salt, cheese and nutmeg. Let cook for 10 minutes, being careful not to let it burn. Once ready you can dedicate the sauce with asparagus. Wash and clean them with a vegetable peeler, then removing the toughest part of the stems. Tie them with kitchen twine and put them to boil in a deep pan, keeping them upright. Once cooked, cut the tips and keep them aside while the stems affetterete rounds.

Now, melt a knob of butter in a pan and sauteed the stems cut above. Do the same with the asparagus tips, using another pan. You can then devote to the preparation of your lasagna. Sprinkle the bottom of a baking pan with 3-4 tablespoons of olive oil, sauce and pepper. Cover with the sheets of lasagna and pour the sauce yet, pepper and diced stalks of asparagus. Complete with thin slices of cheese that you have chosen for flavor and finish with a few thyme leaves. Put more sheets of lasagne and repeat the same operation, then proceeding to terminate all the ingredients. Should be able to get 3 or 4 layers of lasagne.

When you get to the last layer, put more of the sauce, asparagus tips, pepper, thyme and slices of cheese. You can also add a light sprinkling of Parmesan cheese to give it even more flavor.

Bake your lasagna at 170 degrees for 40-45 minutes. Beware if the sheets are more or less double, this will avoid to cook them too much or too little. When the lasagna will seem golden brown on the surface, it means you are ready. Remove from the oven and allow to cool before serving, so that they shrink to well. Your dish is ready ... Enjoy!.
