Italian Creamy Spaghetti with lobster sauce

Spaghetti with lobster sauce

Spaghetti with lobster is a traditional recipe of Sardinia. This dish suitable for those who want to combine the unique flavor of the lobster with the fullness of spaghetti.


400 gr. Spaghetti
1 Lobster average
1/2 onion
1 Carrot
1 can of peeled tomatoes
Extra virgin olive oil


Fry the chopped onion and the chopped carrot in a little ' extra virgin olive oil . Then add the tomatoes , stir and let simmer for about 15 minutes .
Add the whole lobster alive if possible and let it boil for 8 minutes. Then take it out and cut it with a poultry shears and put the pieces into the sauce and cook for another 5 to 8 minutes.
After you've also cooked spaghetti , drain and add it into a large bowl. Stir, sprinkle with pepper and serve.

Measures :

Do not overcook the lobster , and if you buy it alive, when you put it in the water close very strong cover over it , because it will try to get out of the pot .

Ideas and variations:

Put a pinch of sugar in the sauce during cooking to take away the sour taste .
